This piece is one of my favorites and hangs in my home. Its design developed slowly, beginning with a stamp I carved from 9 erasers. The resulting pattern was then digitally manipulated-- enlarged and stretched-- and made into two related silkscreens which were the basis for the composition. Hand stitching with black and white thread accentuated the motif.
It was selected as one of 100 pieces published in the Surface Design Association's premiere Gallery Issue (2006.)
